About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help bring new members up to speed on their duties and provide charging guidance to direct reports
- Communicate sprint goals, PI objectives, and any changes to priorities to all Scrum Masters and stakeholders
- Approve and sign off on earned value reports, recruitment status updates, and metric dashboards before distribution
- Facilitate cross-role coordination meetings (e.g., Scrum Master sync, CAM-Metrics sync) to surface dependencies and impediments
- Track and report on the team’s success metrics (predictability, CV, time-to-hire, dashboard latency, stakeholder satisfaction)
- Engage other program leaders with SE&V, Finance, and Compliance, and leads within other ARTs
Requirements
What you’ll need- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related discipline with 4 years of relevant work experience
- Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
- Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
- Experience with Agile methodology, including participation in ceremonies such as sprint planning and use of tools such as Jira
- Sufficient earned value experience such that CAM processes are understood, reports are readily interpreted, and guidance can be provided to the CAM team when issues arise
- Understanding of the C2BMC hiring process, including participation in activities such as interviewing, Resource Control Board (RCB), and requisition writing and editing
- Formal or informal team leadership experience, including coaching and providing performance feedback.
