About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by: Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other requests
  • Collaborating and coordinating with proposal technical teams to develop the material estimating strategy
  • Selecting appropriate pricing methods (e.g., PO History, vendor quotes) for each item included in the proposal
  • Working on multiple priority proposals concurrently
  • Ensuring compliance with Customer and FAR/DFAR Regulatory Requirements
  • Ensuring delivery schedule adherence
  • Preparing material price analyses to support business unit and GSC leaders in decision-making as it pertains to specific pricing proposals
  • Supporting fact-finding, government audits, customer negotiations, and certifications
  • Interacting with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Pricing, and Business Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or another Business Management related function or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience
  • Proposal experience within government contracting
  • Prior pricing or material estimating experience
  • Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required
