About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by: Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other requests
Collaborating and coordinating with proposal technical teams to develop the material estimating strategy
Selecting appropriate pricing methods (e.g., PO History, vendor quotes) for each item included in the proposal
Working on multiple priority proposals concurrently
Ensuring compliance with Customer and FAR/DFAR Regulatory Requirements
Ensuring delivery schedule adherence
Preparing material price analyses to support business unit and GSC leaders in decision-making as it pertains to specific pricing proposals
Supporting fact-finding, government audits, customer negotiations, and certifications
Interacting with various stakeholders, including but not limited to Global Supply Chain, Program Management, Pricing, and Business Management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or another Business Management related function or a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience
Proposal experience within government contracting
Prior pricing or material estimating experience
Knowledge of FAR and DFAR
U.S. Citizenship required
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required
