Key responsibilities & impact

Lead an interdisciplinary team on key efforts to develop novel Electronic Warfare subsystems on developmental NGAS programs
Contribute to the overall development of HW/SW subsystems, including developing functional architectures, analyzing performance, developing and managing requirements and interfaces, and verifying/validating all allocated requirements
Lead a team to design, develop, build, and test EW components, equipment, systems, and networks in conjunction with key suppliers
Responsible for technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including development, acquisition, acceptance, qualification, system integration, and test support
Lead and support technical discussions with the customer and have daily interaction with management, external personnel, customers, and various sub teams
Guiding the team through development/implementation activities
Performing risk analysis, developing mitigation plans, and tracking to closure
Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate avionics and mission subsystems to meet platform mission objectives
Develop supplier documentation such as procurement specifications, statements of work, and review artifacts from the supplier’s development effort
Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
Support development and integration of HW/SW subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives
Develop integrated HW/SW integration and test approaches across NGAS programs
Performing functional and performance analyses
Conducting detailed trade studies
Perform analyses and estimate performance of components, subsystems, and systems in accordance with governmental and commercial standards
Configure, test, document and troubleshoot avionics and mission systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 12 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 10 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering; or a Ph.D. AND 8 years of related professional/military experience in Engineering
Knowledge of electromagnetics in the RF spectrum (VHF through Ka bands)
Experience with Electronic Warfare, Electronic Support, and multifunction subsystems
Experience in RF/EW applications, including developing and applying models in Matlab, Python, and/or C/C++, along with experience in tracking and algorithm development
Familiarity with 1 or more RF sensing modalities and their applications
Experience in decomposing, deriving, allocating and tracing requirements from system to component level
Experience with developing supplier documentation, performance-based specifications, and statements of work
Experience in supplier/subcontract management
Experience with working on a multidisciplinary team and writing technical proposals
Experience designing, developing, integrating, and/or testing RF equipment for airborne platforms
Knowledge of system engineering design methods, including requirements analysis and flow-down, specification derivation and interface control documentation
An active U.S. Government issued Top Secret SCI Security Clearance as well as Special Program Access (SAP) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
