About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the design and development of hardware and network products, hardware product selection, procurement support, and the Hardware approval process for the C2BMC program, both Regional and Global
  • Work directly with the HW Architect and BOM Manager and will be responsible for working with the Architecture Review Board (ARB), the Hardware Site Engineering Control Board (HSECB), and assigned engineering staff from all functional areas to support hardware and software selection and to compile, maintain, and coordinate Bill of Material changes with Task Order Management and Customer Representatives
  • Deliver multiple CDRLs covering HW and SW reports and current design details
  • Prepare the BOM for proposal pricing and ongoing hardware and software evaluation to support EOS/EOL and evolution roadmap planning
  • Coordinate with the C2BMC Integrated Logistics Support Working Group (ILSWG)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
  • Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
  • A proven track record of applying hardware architecture principles to system design and development
  • Experience working within integrated teams with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop hardware and infrastructure solutions using engineering processes and methods
  • Experience communicating the desired capabilities to a diverse group of developers, engineers, subject-matter experts, and users
  • Must also have a solid understanding of hardware and networking device selection, procurement processes, and hardware baseline approaches (HW/SW Baseline DB experience is a plus)
