About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct supplier evaluations and performance monitoring to ensure quality and reliability
Manage all pre-award and post-award subcontract activities, including onboarding suppliers, drafting RFPs and RFQs, analyzing bids and conducting negotiations
Complete compliant purchase order/subcontract packages meeting FAR/DFAR requirements
Manage subcontract performance and closing out subcontracts
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to finalize Statements of Work (SOWs) and manage supplier performance
Ensure compliance with public laws, company policies, import/export regulations, and procurement integrity
Continuously refine processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Subcontracts or Contracts
In lieu of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience in Purchasing, Subcontracts, or Contracts
Must have government procurement/purchasing experience
Experience in an MRP system, SAP, CostPoint, or Oracle
