About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform mechanical design of one or more moderately complex structural components and functional systems of company products
- Analyze requirements for materials, structural components, or functional systems
- Oversee and guide work performed by junior engineers
- Evaluate completed design with supervisor and other technical groups and make modifications necessary to achieve an ideal design
Requirements
What you’ll need- Requires Bachelors in STEM plus at least 8 years of design experience or Master’s Degree in STEM and at least 6 years of design experience or a PhD in STEM and at least 4 years of design experience
- Prior experience guiding and mentoring lower-level engineers
- Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship as a pre-requisite
- Proficiency with Siemens NX
