About the role
- Source and procure specialized products and services for the Microelectronics Center
- Execute Non-Disclosure Agreements, negotiate Teaming Agreements, review Statements of Work and/or Technical Documents
- Issue Requests for Proposals, analyze proposals, evaluate commerciality claims, approve source justifications and technical evaluations
- Complete price/cost analyses, negotiate Terms and Conditions/pricing/schedule, award and modify subcontracts
- Prepare compliant procurement audit files in accordance with FAR and company policies
- Own contractual management for the supplier and be responsible for source selection
- Coordinate and collaborate with contracts, engineering, quality, supplier development, planning, operations, program and end-users
- Develop bid packages including PO specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions
- Identify strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency and manage risk through negotiations
- In conjunction with quality organization, evaluate and monitor supplier quality, reliability, and delivery capability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 12 years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related experience with a minimum of 8 years in supply chain
- Will consider a minimum of 16 years of supply chain, procurement, business management and/or related experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 10 years of supply chain
- Experience with the government acquisition process with a strong knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and agency supplements, such as Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFARS)
- US Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance
- Travel: Yes, 25% of the Time
- Preferred: SAP experience
- Preferred: Experience with Mission Systems Supply Chain policies and procedures
- Preferred: Experience in supply chain management on a major program in defense and/or management in development or production projects
- Preferred: Experience interfacing with executive leadership
- Preferred: Experience in Earned Value Management
- Preferred: Experience in multiple contractual types (ie FFP, CPFF, CPIF etc)
- Preferred: Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
