About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of exempt and non-exempt employees responsible for shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations supporting various production programs including chemical management.
Coordinate interdepartmental activity with Quality Assurance, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, Procurement, etc.
Meet direct budget targets, write/update work instructions, provide performance metrics, and recommend improvements to productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.
Support all Production goals and objectives through accurate tracking, receiving, and shipping with a strong focus on safety and cost efficiency.
Execute best practices and measure performance through agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Train and guide employees in keeping with all Northrop Grumman Values & Leader Characteristics.
Collaborate on projects related to material receipt, storage, issue, and transportation.
Lead, coordinate, and collaborate with internal and external customers to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in support of Space Sector programs.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management OR a Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
Minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
Basic knowledge of Material Planning or Production Planning and/or equivalent Planning experience
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company
