About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the enterprise privacy program
- Interpret and operationalize privacy regulations (e.g. CCPA/CPRA, state laws) into actionable policies, standards, and procedures
- Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy risk, advising business and technology teams
- Oversee privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and ensure mitigation plans are implemented
- Partner with Legal and Information security on incident response and regulatory inquiries
- Define and maintain privacy governance artifacts including policies and training materials
- Support data subject rights processes
- Develop and deliver privacy awareness and training programs
- Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts to business operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in law, Business, Information System, Public Policy or related field with 8 years’ experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or risk management OR Master’s degree with 6 years’ relevant experience
- Demonstrated expertise in U.S. privacy laws and regulatory frameworks
- Experience implementing or managing enterprise privacy programs
- Strong ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into operation processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
