About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Strategizes, develops, and manages comprehensive export/import authorizations to ensure compliance with US and foreign regulations
Follows business processes pertaining to export/import requirements and all necessary export and import licenses, permits, certifications, and technology release determinations
Establishes and maintains relations with appropriate government regulatory agencies and internal customers
Assures trade compliance through gate reviews for technical data, foreign travel, foreign visits and export and import shipments
Supports internal trade compliance assessments and audits, including required documentation preparation and reviews with management, auditors, and legal counsel
Maintains applicable trade compliance records in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma or GED with at least 9 years experience in Trade Compliance, Contracts, Legal, or relevant field; OR Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience; OR Master's degree with 3 years experience
Knowledge of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and other US Government Regulations
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
Experience working on a complex and high-volume production program (preferred)
Active DoD Secret Clearance (preferred)
Experience with OCR's EASE application (EEMS) (preferred)
Experience with SAP / GTS application (preferred)
