About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Ensure that all software releases, patches, and hotfixes are properly planned, executed, and documented
  • Coordinate with developers, product owners, and engineering managers to ensure that all software releases are completed and artifacts are recorded on time
  • Manage multiple processes and documents, serving as the primary point of contact between the Regional Apps Agile Release Train (ART) and other ARTs within the program regarding current and future releases of Regional Apps software
  • Collaborate with key program stakeholders, including Configuration Management (CM), Release Management, and Quality Assurance
  • Develop, maintain, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics for the Regional Apps Enterprise
  • Prioritize and manage emergency software changes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a related field with 6 years of relevant work experience; or 12 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
  • Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
  • At least 5 years of experience in software development, with a focus on release and configuration management
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies and version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN)
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, including planning, development, testing, and deployment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
