About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build systems using engineering drawings, configuration & recovery documentation
  • Support startup & shutdown procedures, ATP/Delivery, as well as post-delivery support
  • Support the build and installation of custom cables and wire harness assemblies as well as tray assemblies from engineering drawings and interconnect diagrams
  • Produce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics)
  • Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas
  • Conducting preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent AND 4 years of related professional/military experience for Level 3
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent AND 6 years of related professional/military experience for Level 4
  • Must have an active US Government clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME and IEEE standards
  • Working experience building and installing custom harness assemblies in accordance with industry standards
  • Working experience with industry standards for connectors including D38999, Dsub, twinax, RJ45, etc.
  • Must be physically able to move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have color vision to identify cables and wires.
  • Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude to learn new material quickly.
