About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of services, specialized materials, and equipment
Prepares bid packages, conducts bidders conferences, analyzes and evaluates proposals, performs price/cost negotiations
Ensures that appropriate documentation is provided to logistics/transportation & warehouse organization
Manages performance of subcontracts, ensures compliance with public law requirements, and monitors supplier quality
Identifies strategies and opportunities to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk through strategic negotiations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in general area of study and 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience
Understanding of procurement policies, procedures, and regulations
General knowledge of FAR/DFARS and associated Federal Contracting regulations
Strong organizational skills
Ability to collaborate with program management and other multi-functional teams
Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
US Citizenship required
