About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Interpret customer requirements from RFPs and other solicitations.
  • Collect and consolidate cost, schedule, and performance data from functional departments.
  • Select appropriate pricing methods for each proposal item.
  • Apply escalation, quantity-variance, and extended-cost factors to required quantities.
  • Produce consolidated Bills of Material (BOM) to support price and cost analysis.
  • Participate in pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
  • Support audits, negotiations, and certifications while ensuring TINA compliance.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Operations Analysis, Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree in related field with 3+ years of experience.
  • Level 4: Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree in related field with 6+ years of experience.
  • Proven business-management and labor/non-labor cost-estimating experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel (including data transformation & normalization).
  • Experience leading projects and/or managing others.
  • Working knowledge of government and commercial contracting/subcontracting.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication for informing, presenting, negotiating, and problem-solving.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.
