About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Interpret customer requirements from RFPs and other solicitations.
Collect and consolidate cost, schedule, and performance data from functional departments.
Select appropriate pricing methods for each proposal item.
Apply escalation, quantity-variance, and extended-cost factors to required quantities.
Produce consolidated Bills of Material (BOM) to support price and cost analysis.
Participate in pricing reviews with management and customer representatives.
Support audits, negotiations, and certifications while ensuring TINA compliance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Level 3: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business, Finance, Operations Analysis, Engineering or a related field with 5+ years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree in related field with 3+ years of experience.
Level 4: Bachelor’s degree in related field with 8+ years of relevant professional experience OR Master’s degree in related field with 6+ years of experience.
Proven business-management and labor/non-labor cost-estimating experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Advanced Excel (including data transformation & normalization).
Experience leading projects and/or managing others.
Working knowledge of government and commercial contracting/subcontracting.
Excellent written and verbal communication for informing, presenting, negotiating, and problem-solving.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top-Secret security clearance.
