About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting UX design artifacts
  • Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design
  • Completing heuristic assessments of products
  • Create wireframes and user interface designs
  • Author/support the program documentation of the HFE processes and products in a format consistent with US Military Data Item Descriptions (e.g. Human Engineering Design Approach Document – Operator (HEDAD-O))

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Demonstrated experience applying UX design principles to Department of Defense programs
  • Demonstrated experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user interface designs, and/or other UX products
  • UX Design Portfolio showcasing technical and artistic capabilities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to segment, program and customer community
  • Educational background in psychology, human factors, user experience, graphic design, industrial design, or HCI-related field from an accredited university, and at least 2 years of related experience with a Bachelors; OR at least 1 Year of relevant experience with a Masters degree
  • Educational background in psychology, human factors, user experience, graphic design, industrial design, or HCI-related field from an accredited university, and at least 5 years of related experience with a bachelors; OR at least 3 Years of relevant experience with a master's degree; OR 1 Year with a PhD degree
