About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with program IPT counterparts to develop supporting UX design artifacts
Work with both technical teams and stakeholders to develop and mature architecture content of large programs design
Completing heuristic assessments of products
Create wireframes and user interface designs
Author/support the program documentation of the HFE processes and products in a format consistent with US Military Data Item Descriptions (e.g. Human Engineering Design Approach Document – Operator (HEDAD-O))

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance, at time of application, current and within scope, with an investigation date within the last 6 years
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Demonstrated experience applying UX design principles to Department of Defense programs
Demonstrated experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user interface designs, and/or other UX products
UX Design Portfolio showcasing technical and artistic capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to segment, program and customer community
Educational background in psychology, human factors, user experience, graphic design, industrial design, or HCI-related field from an accredited university, and at least 2 years of related experience with a Bachelors; OR at least 1 Year of relevant experience with a Masters degree
Educational background in psychology, human factors, user experience, graphic design, industrial design, or HCI-related field from an accredited university, and at least 5 years of related experience with a bachelors; OR at least 3 Years of relevant experience with a master's degree; OR 1 Year with a PhD degree
