About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work
Assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis
Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures
Direct preparation for expenditure projections
Submit timely requests for additional funding to the government
Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience
Experience with financial analysis or reporting
Experience with MS Office Suite
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
For Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application preferred
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
Defense industry experience preferred
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience preferred
Program Cost Control experience preferred
Experience with FAR/DFAR preferred
Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAP preferred
