About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work
  • Assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis
  • Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures
  • Direct preparation for expenditure projections
  • Submit timely requests for additional funding to the government
  • Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
  • Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
  • Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/ assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience
  • Experience with financial analysis or reporting
  • Experience with MS Office Suite
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • For Level 4: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
  • Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application preferred
  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
  • Defense industry experience preferred
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) experience preferred
  • Program Cost Control experience preferred
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR preferred
  • Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera or SAP preferred
