About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Help prepare budgets and schedules for contract work
- Assist in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis
- Ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures
- Direct preparation for expenditure projections and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
- Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
- Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, fact-finding and negotiation support
- Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated parameters and government cost control guidelines
- Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports, development and analysis of estimates to complete
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 1+ years of professional experience
- Experience with financial analysis or reporting
- Experience with MS Office Suite
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance
