About the role

  • Provide assistance with Phase 5 Readiness, Material Receipts, Forecasting, Metrics, and special projects supporting the Manager of Global Supply Chain Continuous Improvement
  • Provide support to long-term vision and goals for project oversight, managing budgets, schedules, risk management, quality assurance, technical tools and reporting of status to executive management
  • Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with stakeholders
  • Support GSC Executive Leadership Team with internal reporting, metrics and process improvement initiatives and explore/develop new technologies to meet Global Supply Chain business needs
  • Support business analysts and developers on project teams across different business areas documenting technical requirements and specifications
  • Support teams responsible for assessing supply resources, aggregating and prioritizing demand requirements, and planning inventory, distribution, production, material, and rough-cut capacity
  • Conduct facilitation sessions to gather requirements and build logical models
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and technical data owners on creating solutions
  • Review and report on project metrics to benchmark effectiveness, partner with DBAs and developers to ensure business models are accurately implemented
  • Ensure full supply chain lifecycle has appropriate KPIs
  • Prepare project execution plans, identify technical and business resources, and ensure projects complete on schedule and within budget
  • Define, design, and implement continuous improvement programs ensuring vertical and horizontal integration
  • Define and analyze improvement projects, facilitate and coach improvement teams, and establish performance metrics to measure program success
  • Provide specialized training in SAP technologies and ERP systems and represent GSC in workgroups and project teams
  • Collaborate in planning and executing special projects, driving responsive analyses, and maintaining tools/infrastructure

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of related data analytics and/or programming with focus in Program Management, Subcontract Management, Planning, or Purchasing or related field
  • Master's degree and 10+ years in the areas of data analytics and/or programming with focus in Program Management, Subcontract Management, Planning, or Purchasing or related field
  • Experience in HANA Studio Architecture/Design, including data modeling (calculation views, SQL procedures, table functions) and performance tuning
  • Experience in data using SQL, Visual Basic, C#, or Java
  • Experience of SAP modules, including SAP ECC and Business Objects reporting modules
  • Experience with the SAP ECC-HANA data model and replication
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software—SAP certification is a plus
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET government security clearance
  • TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time
  • Preferred: experience with JSON or XML and SQL database technologies (Oracle, SQL Server, HANA)
  • Preferred: modern web development frameworks (ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript frameworks, CSS) and version control tools like Git
  • Preferred: experience in buying, supply chain planning, program management, supplier issue resolution, managing specifications/drawings/SOWs
  • Preferred: experience with Earned Value Management (EVMS) or as a Control Account Manager (CAM)
  • Preferred: experience with reporting tools like Tableau and Power BI
