About the role

  • Manages the test schedule
  • Chip tracking for test life cycle requests, received, in test, package availability, material needs (request through IPT)
  • Develops and manages software tools to track devices for test
  • Captures test objectives and exit criteria
  • Submits device request forms
  • Implements tools to log device location
  • Determines when chips are to be dispositioned
  • Completes Test IMS as requested/necessary
  • Coordinates Technician resource demand and allocation with technician homeroom and test lead
  • IT ticket escalation; Log and share outstanding tickets with team and prioritize tickets for escalation
  • POC for requests of Custom Hardware support
  • Generates requests for internal non-programmatic support teams
  • Interface with program IPT regarding test needs and requirements
  • Support NGMC MDA test activities at Advanced Technology Laboratory in Linthicum, MD or Annapolis Junction, MD (full-time on-site)
  • Travel approximately 10% of the time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 8 years of relevant experience
  • Master of Science degree in STEM related field with 6 years of relevant technical experience
  • PhD in STEM related field with 4 years of relevant experience
  • Significant experience in test labs through operations or test execution
  • Strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication and collaboration, team engagement, and organizational skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance per customer requirements
  • Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
  • Preferred: Demonstrated success leading high performance teams as technical, integrated product team, and/or functional leader
  • Preferred: Experience with cryogenic and superconducting device test protocols and methods
  • Preferred: Experience as a technical lead supporting test efforts and staff across multiple test stands
  • Preferred: Experience managing large data sets
  • Preferred: Experience with inventory management and tracking tools
  • Preferred: CAM/EV experience
  • Preferred: Active U.S. government security clearance
