About the role
- Serve as a leader in the proposal process for a portfolio of sole source and competitive proposals
- Work with program, business management, business development, and capture to interpret and respond to RFPs, ROMs, P&As, and other pricing/proposal requests
- Lead proposal teams through understanding RFP requirements and developing estimates for labor, material, subcontractors, travel, and ODCs
- Drive global supply chain compliance with vendors and subcontractors
- Evaluate BOEs for logic and compliance and develop final submission artifacts such as cost volume and supporting documentation
- Support approval processes with senior leadership and present to various levels of leadership
- Evaluate overall risk posture and business deal, support negotiations, and respond to customer and DCAA RFIs
- Support the program through award and certification with focus on FAR/DFAR and NG Estimating System compliance
Requirements
- Bachelor's with 8 years of related experience; 6 Years related experience with Masters; 4 Year with PhD; or in lieu of a degree 12 years of relevant experience (Sr. Principal)
- Bachelor’s with 5 years of related experience; 3 Years related with Masters; 1 Years with PhD; or in lieu of a degree 9 years of relevant experience (Principal)
- Extensive experience in pricing, finance, contracts, business and/or business operations
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAR/DFARs compliance
- Knowledge of NG Estimating System compliance
- Experience with competitive proposal pricing strategies and negotiation support
- Strong computer skills (excel pivot tables and formulas, Powerpoint)
- Knowledge of ProPricer software
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, organizational skills
- Risk assessment skills and general business acumen
- Ability to prioritize effectively and complete work timely in a deadline driven environment
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Government Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
