About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for supporting Procurement commodity teams with various supply chain related tasks.
  • Interface with Suppliers for Purchase Order delivery status and oversight that includes but is not limited to, sending Weekly Open Order Report to Suppliers, maintain current Purchase Order delivery dates, provide status to other functions for Program visibility, request and track part milestone schedule and closeout any administrative Purchase Order actions.
  • Conduct and lead Weekly/Bi-Weekly status meetings with Suppliers and other Global Supply Chain functions.
  • Interface and collaborate with Buyer, Programs and other organizations within and outside of Global Supply Chain
  • Ability to plan schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives
  • Person should possess outstanding written and verbal communication skills and be extremely organized.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field for a Level 1
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field and 2 + years of relevant experience – OR – Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field for a level 2
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience within the Aerospace or Aviation industry
  • Experience with FAR/DFAR
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
