About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Development and adherence to master plans and schedules
Developing Rough order of Magnitude (ROM) documents to support program change request reviews
Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar cost & schedule control methodologies and tools
Measuring and reporting software cost and schedule performance
Providing input into software staffing plans
Delivering presentations to customers, executive management, and other program stakeholders
Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
Ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope, and manages change through control board activities
Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation, and realization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years’ experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance within scope,(<6yrs) with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
At least 6 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
Firm understanding and application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Experienced people leadership that includes performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning
Experience in working with subcontractors and customers at all levels
Experience in program reporting
Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost.
