About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee the coordination of schedules for the production floor
Ensure the flow of parts, materials, and assemblies between departments is done in a timely manner
Support driving supplier delivery performance, set execution targets, and track performance in support of achieving program financial goals
Manage team to company goals with KPI's
Oversee the day-to-day workflow of production staff
Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
Maintain acceptable inventory accuracy levels through process controls on manufacturing floor
Develop trend analysis tools examining WIP and inventory which effectively signal abnormality within the process and provide guidance to correction
Monitor each program's plan and actuals to ensure optimal line balancing, WIP control, and elimination of over production

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management or production OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management or production OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management or production
Must have a minimum of 4 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
Experience with MRP or ERP systems
At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
