About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee the coordination of schedules for the production floor
- Ensure the flow of parts, materials, and assemblies between departments is done in a timely manner
- Support driving supplier delivery performance, set execution targets, and track performance in support of achieving program financial goals
- Manage team to company goals with KPI's
- Oversee the day-to-day workflow of production staff
- Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
- Maintain acceptable inventory accuracy levels through process controls on manufacturing floor
- Develop trend analysis tools examining WIP and inventory which effectively signal abnormality within the process and provide guidance to correction
- Monitor each program's plan and actuals to ensure optimal line balancing, WIP control, and elimination of over production
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management or production OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management or production OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, inventory management or production
- Must have a minimum of 4 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
- Experience with MRP or ERP systems
- At minimum, an active DoD Secret level clearance is required to apply and to start the role, with the ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
