About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop a practical understanding of Aircraft Structural Integrity and Propulsion Systems Integrity
- Support the KC - 30A sustainment program, learning how engineering, maintenance, and operational teams work together
- Assist in the development of data analytics tools to support the maturation of condition monitoring systems
- Apply your university studies to real engineering and sustainment problems
- Attend maintenance sites to see how engineering analysis directly supports aircraft sustainment and safety
- Present your work and key learnings at the conclusion of your internship
Requirements
What you’ll need- Current study in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structures Engineering
- Second or third - year standing in a Bachelor of Engineering degree
- Strong analytical thinking and problem - solving skills
- An interest in aircraft sustainment, integrity, or systems engineering
- Programming, coding, or data curation skills (highly regarded)
- Exposure to systems engineering concepts (desirable but not essential)
- Ability to work full-time over the allocated internship period
