About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage a program or a function within the larger organizational unit, setting & operating to objectives & providing guidance to subordinates based on goals, objectives & company policy.
Planning, risk management, and project performance addressing cost, schedule, and technical quality for related Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) elements on a large system development-type contract or full responsibility for all aspects of program performance on a large technical services-type contract.
Review status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepare status reports.
Assess project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree and 8 years of related experience; master's degree and 6 years’ experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) period, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance.
At least 6 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule.
Demonstrated track record/ experience in project management/ execution and closeout
Firm understanding and application of Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
Experienced people leadership that includes performance management, career development, staffing, and merit planning.
