About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • New business acquisition, proposal, and special projects support
  • Support Functional Engineering initiatives
  • Assist with staff workload forecast preparation
  • Identify and implement new tools and processes for efficiency
  • Acquire necessary equipment for the team
  • Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, and supportability analyses
  • Lead Engineering teams with program execution
  • Mentor Engineers on all phases of the Program
  • Create, review, and maintain documentation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field AND 9 years of professional/military experience including software development OR a Master’s degree & 7 years OR a PhD & 4 years
  • Experience in leadership using agile development
  • Experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience with Agile software development, object-oriented architecture, integration, and testing
  • Proficiency in at least two of the following: Java, Python, Go, C++, C#, PowerShell, VBScript, Bash, KornShell
  • Experience with Cloud technologies and service providers
  • Active U.S. Government Secret clearance
