About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Developing Requirement Verification Plans (RVPs) from approved requirements and design reviews for new and changed features.
- Coordinating reviews and approvals of the RVPs for Verification Methods
- Supporting the collection & review of the Verification Data Products from System Test to ensure the verification date meets the intent and scope of the RVS/RVP
- Develop Requirement Verification Records (RVRs) and coordinated internal Systems Engineering and Integration review and customer review and approval of the RVR.
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Responsible Engineers (REs) to gather analysis and data for requirements with Verification Method of Analysis or Inspection
- Develop and release System Test & Verification Plan for each IFC
- Develop and release System Test & Verification Report to close out verification activity for each IFC
- Support peer reviews to ensure program work products meet system verification requirements.
- Support System Test engineers develop their test procedures to ensure correct requirements interpretation and RVS incorporation.
- Participate in Test Procedure peer reviews.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and at least 12 years of related engineering experience;
- OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and at least 10 years of related engineering experience;
- OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and at least 8 years of related engineering experience.
- Must have an active US Government Top Secret clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
