Key responsibilities & impact

Support the numerous internal and external meetings by providing charts and verbally participating in discussions regarding the UK fleet supply status, cost, schedule, and technical topics.
Support miscellaneous projects/tasks within the Launcher Logistics Team, as required.
Coordinate planning requirements for UK DASO (or test) activities and facility needs.
Serve as the UK logistics liaison between the engineers and the customer at build yards, shipyards, and test facilities.
Interacting with team leads to interpret Customer needs and requirements.
Participate in provisioning conferences and formal provisioning in support of the UK.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Prepare and submit data items in accordance with DoD requirements and contracts.
Travel to the UK to support meetings with the Royal Navy.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant logistics experience; OR a master’s degree with 6 or more years of relevant logistics experience
Prior experience working with cross-functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Business Management, Field Operations, etc.)
Experience with SAP, ERP (or similar) system, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance
Ability to travel to the United Kingdom
US Citizenship required.
