Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for a department within the Systems Engineering organization
Set operating objectives and provide mentorship to Functional Home Room (FHR) Section Managers (SMs)
Provide oversight and assistance to multiple business areas within the division portfolio
Manage planning, risk, project performance, schedule, technical quality, and addressing technical or operational problems
Assist engineers and program staff to develop and maintain talent within the organization
Frequent contact with equivalent level managers and programs
Lead a team of engineers across various engineering disciplines

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) with 8 years of related experience or Masters Degree and 6 years of related experience
Ability to obtain Top Secret Clearance and Special Program Access
Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application with an investigation completed within the last 6 years
Experience in requirements development/management using DOORS or similar tool
Experience in model development/management using CAMEO or similar tool
Experience in Model Based System Engineering with an understanding of DODAF and SysML
