About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops, maintains, and establishes audit compliance of financial systems
- Prepares incurred cost proposals, billing & quick closeout rate proposals
- Provides responses to DCAA audited findings
- Analyzes large volumes of data using worksheet and database skills
- Supports financial and SOX audits by internal, external, and government auditors
- Works with their team to ensure strong processes and controls are in place
Requirements
What you’ll need- bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or other related field with 3 years of relevant experience; OR a Master's degree with 1 year experience; OR a PhD with 0 years relevant experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- GAAP, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) knowledge
- Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management
