About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the business unit and profit & loss (P&L) leaders to achieve near-term and long-term growth targets
- Drive execution of strategic vision to drive enduring growth for the Weapon Systems (WS) division
- Provide cross-functional guidance to align the entire division towards common strategic objectives
- Responsible for alignment of investment resources towards strategic objectives
- Lead the division in annual strategic planning efforts in collaboration with sector and corporate counterparts
- Support the NG enterprise campaigns and represent the WS equities to corporate strategic planning
- Interface directly with senior leadership to offer strategic perspective and drive results
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years of experience or Master’s Degree with 13 years of experience in the defense / aerospace business
- Experienced Business Development professional with prior experience in strategic planning and/or execution
- Experience leading and managing P&L resources and/or investment prioritization
- Strong background in program management, business development, and U.S. DoD priorities
- Must have an active secret or higher clearance, US citizenship is a pre-requisite. Must be able to obtain a Top Secret clearance.
