About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for the direct supervision and management of their delegated staff
  • Manage a team of up to 10 direct reports who will support Procurement activities across multiple divisions
  • Proficient in the procurement process, including but not limited to source selection, price analysis, negotiations, risk management
  • Identify and communicate risk and opportunity quickly
  • Align team goals to Sector and Division objectives
  • Effectively manage a supply base: Evaluate supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance
  • Develop and maintain Strategic Supplier relationships
  • Supervise release of RFQs for LTA and high-dollar reqs
  • Execute negotiations of LTAs and high-dollar contracts
  • Identify opportunities for cross Divisional strategies
  • Build and develop a geographic diverse and remote team
  • Plan, schedule and arrange activities to accomplish objectives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, sustainment, proposals, procurement, contracts, resource planning or accounting, OR a Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in the same fields, OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of experience in the same fields
  • Must have Procurement experience
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
  • 2 years experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
  • Experience with software maintenance agreements and applications
  • Experience building and/or leading teams, interacting with multifunctional roles/department
  • Leadership and people management skills with the ability to model and promote a strong sense of engagement, teamwork and cooperation
  • Budgeting experience and EVM knowledge
  • Solid understanding of engineering/technical requirements
