Key responsibilities & impact

Serving as Q&MA Director responsible for all Quality and compliance related activities in Development, Production, Sustainment, and Supplier Quality
Responsible for the oversight of Q&MA employees across more than 30 sites
Management and leadership of key strategies, systems and governance processes including the Management Review, Supplier Disclosure Board, Risk Management, Site Performance, Program Management, and Customer Reviews
Regularly interface with internal and external customers regarding requirements and understanding stakeholder expectations
Develop controls that build confidence for process execution
Prepare and present to customers and the Defense Systems leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 10 years of related professional and/or military experience that includes a background in the aircraft, aerospace, and/or manufacturing industries
Master’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of related professional and/or military experience that includes a background in the aircraft, aerospace, and/or manufacturing industries
Prior experience leading multi-site and geographically diverse teams
Must have or be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance
Must be able to travel as needed (up to 50% of the time)
Must be able to work on-site in at least one of the following locations: McLean, Virginia; Huntsville, Alabama; Roy, Utah; Linthicum, Maryland
