About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Supporting communication system analysis, design, engineering capture, build, and integration
Performing technical evaluation and analysis of supplier proposals, design data, definition of functional test requirements including acceptance, qualification, system integration and test execution
Actively participating in Program Risk and Opportunity and Change Management processes
Assisting with the development of Supplier Statement of Work and Performance Specifications
Directing the activities of subordinate engineers to complete project assignments
Documenting system requirements and interfaces, with traceability to platform requirements
Performing liaison duties to disseminate information to Suppliers, Leadership, and other Integrated Product Teams and external customers
Supporting Cost Account Managers (CAMs), Project Leads, Responsible Engineers (REs), and leadership with regard to proposal development, cost planning, and performance tracking efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 14 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience.

COMMS Wideband and Narrowband integration and testing
A U.S. Citizen with Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance OR active DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility (with a background investigation within the past 5 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Access Program (SAP) access via a Program Access Request (PAR).
