About the role

  • Support the architecture and design of baked in cybersecurity requirements and protections
  • Plan, implement, and perform assessment of allocated security controls
  • Translate allocated security controls into system and segment level requirements
  • Provide cybersecurity system engineering implementation guidance
  • Review and Assess stakeholder security objectives and protection needs
  • Identify, quantify, and evaluate the costs/benefits of security functions
  • Author, support and maintain cybersecurity program documentation
  • Document findings (POA&M’s) and perform scanning/assessment tasks

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, Master's degree with 3 years, PhD with 0 years of experience
  • Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required at time of application
  • Direct experience developing RMF assessment and authorization documentation
  • Direct experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
  • Experience with RMF (NIST 800-37) accreditation functions
  • Experience with requirements development & derivation from allocated controls
  • Experience developing Security CONOPs and SSPs
  • Ability to apply analytical and evaluative methods
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate with both internal teams and external customers
