About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Source and procure commodities such as machined metal, Castings, Additive Mfg., and other components on development and production programs
Proficient in procurement processes including price analysis, negotiations, policies, and procedures
Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals; analyzes proposed pricing from suppliers
Collaborates with quality organization to evaluate supplier quality and reliability
Identifies opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency through negotiations
Manages performance of purchase orders ensuring compliance with laws and procedures
Reviews, reconciles, and approves supplier invoices
Interfaces and collaborates with Programs and other organizations within Global Supply Chain

Requirements

What you’ll need

10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related industry experience
Alternatively, 6 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 4 years with a master's degree
Effective oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Procurement experience in Government environment
Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required
