About the role

  • Source and procure commodities such as machined metal, Castings, Additive Mfg., and other components on development and production programs
  • Proficient in procurement processes including price analysis, negotiations, policies, and procedures
  • Initiates Requests for Quotations and Proposals; analyzes proposed pricing from suppliers
  • Collaborates with quality organization to evaluate supplier quality and reliability
  • Identifies opportunities to reduce cost and improve efficiency through negotiations
  • Manages performance of purchase orders ensuring compliance with laws and procedures
  • Reviews, reconciles, and approves supplier invoices
  • Interfaces and collaborates with Programs and other organizations within Global Supply Chain

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing, or related industry experience
  • Alternatively, 6 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 4 years with a master's degree
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Procurement experience in Government environment
  • Ability to obtain a US Government issued Secret clearance; US Citizenship is required
