About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support Aeronautics Sector business and strategy objectives in Japan
Act as the primary interface to Japanese customers and support NGAS activities
Cultivate strategic customer relations with current and potential Japanese customers
Work closely with regional government authorities and industrial partners
Develop country-focused Training curriculum for BD and Capture Teams
Act as the primary interface for information reporting and coordination between the Japan based team and NGAS senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have a least a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in international business capture within the Aerospace and Defense industry, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in international business capture within the Aerospace and Defense industry or a PhD and 6 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in international business capture within the Aerospace and Defense industry
10 years of work experience required with Japanese Defense or corporate Business Development
Ability to travel internationally as required (minimum 25%)
Proven international business development and/or capture leadership experience within the Aerospace and Defense Industry
Understanding and knowledge of U.S. Government and International acquisition/procurement policies and regulations
Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the needs of the business
Ability to obtain and maintain a special access program (SAP) within a reasonable period as determined by the needs of the business
