About the role
- Support Aeronautics Sector business and strategy objectives in Japan
- Act as the primary interface to Japanese customers and support NGAS activities
- Cultivate strategic customer relations with current and potential Japanese customers
- Work closely with regional government authorities and industrial partners
- Develop country-focused Training curriculum for BD and Capture Teams
- Act as the primary interface for information reporting and coordination between the Japan based team and NGAS senior leadership
Requirements
- Must have a least a Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in international business capture within the Aerospace and Defense industry, OR a Master’s degree and 8 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in international business capture within the Aerospace and Defense industry or a PhD and 6 years of related professional/military experience that includes a background in international business capture within the Aerospace and Defense industry
- 10 years of work experience required with Japanese Defense or corporate Business Development
- Ability to travel internationally as required (minimum 25%)
- Proven international business development and/or capture leadership experience within the Aerospace and Defense Industry
- Understanding and knowledge of U.S. Government and International acquisition/procurement policies and regulations
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the needs of the business
- Ability to obtain and maintain a special access program (SAP) within a reasonable period as determined by the needs of the business
