Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations
Assist with intercompany transactions and foreign currency reconciliation
Load and reconcile data in SAP S4 and FDMEE/Hyperion Financial Management (HFM)
Conduct accounting research and draft technical position papers
Provide audit support and respond to ad-hoc data requests
Assist in the preparation of financial statement analytics and management reports
Act as primary contact for assigned sectors, ensuring effective communication
Participate in special projects and ensure compliance with accounting standards

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
3+ years of relevant work experience
Understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems, particularly SAP S4
Experience from a Big 4 accounting firm (preferred)
CPA or actively pursuing licensure (preferred)
Experience with Blackline, SAP, and Hyperion Financial Management (preferred)
Strong GAAP accounting proficiency and research experience (preferred)
Understanding of government contract accounting regulations, cost accounting standards, and federal acquisition regulations (preferred)
