Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage dependencies with other product teams and support external dependencies
  • Handle and document technical issues
  • Support the development of proposals
  • Ensure that the product team's technical commitments are clearly understood and executed
  • Maintain a backlog of assigned features to meet technical commitments
  • Ensure teams follow organizational processes
  • Apply advanced concepts, theories, and principles, and contribute to developing new principles and ideas
  • Handle highly complex problems with consultative guidance; wrong decisions could generally cause failure in reaching key organizational goals and damage the organization’s technological reputation
  • Advise top management and customers on sophisticated technical research studies and applications
  • Work will be performed as part of an Agile Scrum team under the guidance of a Team Lead who reports to the C2BMC Regional Systems Engineering Manager
  • Work will be performed within a designated closed area.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field) from an accredited university, along with 12 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a STEM-related field with 10 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related discipline with 8 years of relevant work experience
  • Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start
  • Willingness to travel 10% of the time for business needs
  • Experience in management or leadership roles, along with the relevant skills
  • Coordinate with Control Account Managers (CAMs) and EVM staff to determine cost and schedule performance
  • Generate Estimated Time to Complete (ETC), Earned Value Management (EVM), and other engineering metrics to identify and resolve all technical or staffing issues while managing cost and schedule
