About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support privacy and data governance controls by maintaining data inventories
- Collaborate with business stakeholders on privacy assessments of products and technologies
- Investigate and resolve privacy-related inquiries and complaints
- Develop and implement initiatives to increase employee awareness of privacy topics
- Manage team mailboxes to respond to privacy queries
- Exhibit personal ownership and accountability for continuous improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant Privacy, Data Governance, and/or Legal experience; OR a Master’s degree with 0 years of relevant Privacy, Data Governance, and/or Legal experience
- Experience negotiating data protection agreements with external vendors
- Experience operationalizing privacy-by-design principles
- Ability to obtain a US DoD security clearance
- Demonstrated understanding of global privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, CPRA
- Familiarity with user tracking technologies and implementation tools
- Experience with ServiceNow, OneTrust or similar software platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
