About the role

  • Responsible for supporting our strategic and space related business programs
  • Work closely with program management, operational leaders, and internal and external customers
  • Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
  • Perform data gathering and analysis to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures
  • Prepare future strategic plans
  • Analyze business processes and make recommendations to improve process efficiency and support continuous improvement
  • Prepare and track key performance metrics to direct management

Requirements

  • 6 or more years of finance experience in lieu of degree
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2 years of experience; or Master’s degree in related field with 0 year of experience
  • Knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheet applications and databases (e.g. MS Excel and MS Power Point)
  • Ability to extract, compile, document and analyze data
  • Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with others
  • Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
  • Independent self-starter and proactive contributor
  • Seeks to continually improve business processes and add value
  • Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines
  • Organize deliverables in a clean and presentable format
