About the role
- Responsible for supporting our strategic and space related business programs
- Work closely with program management, operational leaders, and internal and external customers
- Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work and financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
- Perform data gathering and analysis to ensure adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures
- Prepare future strategic plans
- Analyze business processes and make recommendations to improve process efficiency and support continuous improvement
- Prepare and track key performance metrics to direct management
Requirements
- 6 or more years of finance experience in lieu of degree
- Bachelor’s degree in related field and 2 years of experience; or Master’s degree in related field with 0 year of experience
- Knowledge of applications in a computerized environment, including spreadsheet applications and databases (e.g. MS Excel and MS Power Point)
- Ability to extract, compile, document and analyze data
- Ability to work in a team environment and build relationships with others
- Possess excellent analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
- Independent self-starter and proactive contributor
- Seeks to continually improve business processes and add value
- Ability to prioritize multiple assignments in order to meet deadlines
- Organize deliverables in a clean and presentable format
