Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems
Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers
Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems
Prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems
Ensures software standards are met

Requirements

Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance
Bachelor’s degree in Science with 5 years of experience, or a Master’s in Science with 3 years of experience, or a PhD with 1 year of experience, or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
Experience with Java, C++, and/or Python
Experience working Software Test, SW Development and/or Systems Engineering
Understanding of the software development lifecycle and agile development methodology
