About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead/support proposal activities, including: Development of the Request for Proposal (RFP) package
  • Assigning and tracking completion of Labor, Travel, and Material estimates
  • Auditing estimates for accuracy, completeness, and pricing strategy
  • Managing scope and artifact changes through a disciplined process
  • Development and maintenance of proposal schedule
  • Lead/support Fact Finding activities
  • Support Negotiation activities
  • Support strategic long-term planning
  • Serve as liaison between Program Managers, Pricing Analysts, Estimators, Contract Administrators, Supply Chain, and external partners
  • Resolve issues in accordance with business objectives, strategies, legal requirements, regulations, contract terms, and company policies
  • Maintain excellent communication skills while flowing information both up to leadership and out to the program and proposal teams
  • Multi-task and manage conflicting priorities in a schedule-driven environment
  • Participate in process improvement activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree with 6 or more years of relevant work experience
  • Experience working with cross-functional organizations (Program Office, Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business Management, Field Operations, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • The ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Secret clearance
  • US Citizenship required
