Key responsibilities & impact

Drive hardware engineering execution as a leader across the SDS Division portfolio of programs while reporting into the Command Systems Business Unit (BU) organization.
Implement the vision for design engineering team to successfully execute hardware engineering for the Sentinel Command Systems Wing Ops and Physical Security Subsystems.
Direct the implementation of integrated hardware engineering process across the CS Organization.
Drive a culture of empowerment and accountability that enables the team to efficiently execute to achieve results on time.
Manage all aspects of development across mission/weapon system engineering, subsystem/component hardware design engineering.
Ensure Hardware Engineering product quality and consistency and manage auditing and oversight functions.
Provide proactive management of earned value metrics associated with subsystem design, development and integration.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 years of progressive engineering experience, or Master’s and 6 years’ of experience or an additional 4 years of related experience in lieu of degree
Experience Managing People
3+ years experience designing and developing hardware.
3+ years experience with EVMS on hardware development programs
Active DoD Secret clearance, investigation must have been completed within last 5 years.
