About the role
- Internship position in Northrop Grumman's Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD) at Defense Systems Sector in Huntsville, AL.
- Participate in engineering and test activities supporting Strategic Deterrent Systems.
- Learn new skills, explore the enterprise, and network with experts.
- Work full-time (40 hours/week) for a minimum 10-week summer internship in 2026.
- Support training and employee resource groups and contribute to projects that impact national security.
Requirements
- Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2026.
- Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
- Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
- Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).
- Preferred: Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
- Preferred: Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
