About the role

  • Prepare material estimates for proposal submittals by:
  • Understanding customer requirements through RFPs and other requests
  • Collaborating and coordinating with proposal technical teams to develop the material estimating strategy
  • Selecting appropriate pricing methods (e.g., PO History, vendor quotes) for each item included in the proposal
  • Working on multiple priority proposals concurrently
  • Ensuring compliance with Customer and FAR/DFAR Regulatory Requirements
  • Ensuring delivery schedule adherence
  • Supporting proposal reviews with detailed Bills of Materials and Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs)
  • Preparing Bill of Material pricing templates to support proposal-specific pricing models
  • Supporting risk and opportunity assessment, quantification, and analysis during the proposal estimating process
  • Supporting fact-finding, government audits, customer negotiations, and certifications, while ensuring TINA compliance during all aspects of the proposal process

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of combined experience in Pricing, Estimating, Global Supply Chain or another Business Management related function or a Master’s Degree with 1 years of experience
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance is required
