About the role
- Identify and evaluate potential subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure they meet the Division’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements
- Negotiate subcontract agreements, including terms and conditions, pricing, and delivery schedules, while ensuring favorable terms for the Division
- Manage the subcontracting process from initiation to closeout, including subcontractor selection, performance monitoring, and issue resolution
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, legal, and finance teams, to ensure alignment and compliance with contractual requirements and company policies
- Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations, including quality, schedule, and budget requirements
- Identify and mitigate subcontracting risks/ issues and develop/implement risk mitigation strategies
- Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to foster collaboration and drive continuous improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, proposals, procurement, business management, contracts, engineering or subcontracts – OR - Master’s Degree with 8+ years of experience in supply chain management, project management, proposals, procurement, business management, contracts, engineering or subcontracts
- Minimum of 4 years of leadership/management experience
- Must have Government Contracting Experience (FAR, DFARS), including terms and conditions, contract types and associated geometry
- Must have an active DoD Top Secret level clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a SCI clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the Company to meet its business needs
