Lead the engineering organization with employee management responsibilities including goal setting, performance evaluation, equity adjustments and promotions, merit and bonus planning, training, and workforce development
Collaborate with Space Systems sector Divisions, Business Units, Operating Units, and programs to plan for and provide staffing to ensure successful program execution
Collaborate with peer Central Region and Space Systems sector Engineering leaders to effectively support program execution across all supported programs
Collaborate with multiple functional organizations to define strategies that enhance engineering effectiveness and efficiency
Identify engineering focus areas for improvement, development and execution of engineering initiatives, and elimination of non-value-added activities

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline
Minimum of 15 years of progressive technical experience in engineering
8+ years of management experience in engineering or related technical fields
Understanding of the engineering development lifecycle across multiple engineering disciplines with a focus on Software and Controls Engineering
Knowledge and experience with Agile execution, DevSecOps, and development tools
Must have a current or active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance
