About the role
- Develop and publish corporate business automation plans using cost-effective delivery technologies
- Performs complex software design integrating multiple technologies
- Provides architectural guidelines for all software design activities across current and future technology environments
- Responsible for the design and architectural guidelines for current and future software technology initiatives
- Responsible for designing C2BMC AT and DEF SW solutions to meet customer requirements
- Must have a demonstrated ability to lead a team of high-performing individuals across a multi-site, multi-disciplinary organization
- Analyze high-level needs and refine them into an evolving architecture that culminates in a fielded product
- Write and implement engineering plans for a project
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in STEM Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree (preferred) in a STEM-related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or a PhD in a related STEM discipline with 1 year of relevant work experience
- Current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.)
- Current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application
- Willingness to travel between development sites (Colorado Springs or Huntsville)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong understanding of system software deployment architectures and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD)
- Experience working in an integrated team environment with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions
- Should understand the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS)
