  • Complete work independently and as a part of an Agile team

Requirements

  • 5 Years with Bachelor’s in STEM field of study, 3 Years with Masters, a PhD or 9 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 8 Years with Bachelor’s in STEM field of study, 6 Years with Masters, 4 Years with PhD or 12 years of experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Must be able and willing to obtain and maintain U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Security Clearance, but not required to start.
  • Proven experience with Python and HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Software Security tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube and Git
  • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within a small technical team
  • Ability to prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish project results
  • Experience building Electron based desktop applications.
  • Experience with Environmental Sciences, the Weather domain or DoD operations.
  • Experience with Django web framework and CesiumJS 3D mapping library.
  • Experience with development targeted at Windows desktop deployment.
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Experience with Docker or other container runtimes.
  • Demonstrated use of collaboration tool suites (Atlassian).
  • Active Security Certification (Security+, CSSLP, CISSP).
